YOUR DONATIONS WILL SUPPORT THE COURAGE FOUNDATION VIP FOR NORTH CAROLINA VETERANS!
The Mark Divine Courage Foundation (CF) is committed to equipping veterans and first responders with the skills, resilience, and community they need to overcome the invisible wounds of service. Today, we are seeking your partnership to bring this mission to North Carolina.
We are raising funds to host a two-day interactive training event designed specifically to help North Carolina veterans mitigate the day-to-day effects of Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). This is not talk therapy. Instead, our evidence-based approach teaches practical skills that empower veterans and first responders to calm their nervous systems, regain control in challenging moments, and transform reactive patterns into intentional responses. These tools lay the foundation for Post-Traumatic Growth—the ability to not only recover, but to rise stronger.
A vital element of this event is the presence of Courage Foundation alumni—veterans who have completed the training themselves and are now thriving. These alumni will share their personal testimonies of struggle, healing, and growth in a way that protects dignity and honors each individual’s journey. Their presence provides North Carolina veterans and first responders with the invaluable opportunity to see transformation modeled by peers who “get it.”
Beyond structured training sessions, we intentionally create space for genuine camaraderie. Shared activities provide veterans and first responders with the chance to connect organically, forming natural “Battle Buddy” or “Swim Buddy” relationships that often continue long after the event concludes. These connections become a vital support network, strengthening both resilience and community.

To make this possible, we are seeking funding to fly our Courage Foundation alumni veterans to North Carolina, enabling them to serve as mentors, trainers, and supportive companions throughout the event. The Mark Divine Courage Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and your contribution is fully tax-deductible.
Your support directly empowers veterans and first responders to reclaim their lives, strengthen their resilience, and build a community that lasts well beyond the training event. Together, we can help create real, lasting change for those who served.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a meaningful impact. We would be honored to discuss this initiative further or provide any additional information you may need.
With gratitude,
David Weber
