Please consider sponsoring our Slalom Boston fundraising effort for this important cause. The Courage Foundation offers innovative programs that are making a difference in the lives of veterans suffering from PTS.

Each day an average of 20 veterans commit suicide, and although this number is decreasing, more needs to be done. The Courage Foundation is an organization formed by a former Navy Seal to foster post-traumatic growth, restore purpose and transform lives through integrative self-awareness, physical health, mental toughness, emotional resilience and spiritual well-being of veterans. In 2018, the founder, Mark Divine created a challenge to do 22 million burpees to raise money to provide these services.

To help this cause, a group of Slalom Boston employees are planning to do 20 burpees per day from Sept 1 to Nov 11, 2019. We will keep you posted on our progress and we will be posting our burpee videos on the Slalom Boston Instagram page.

Want to get involved? You can:

  1. Donate to an individual doing burpees. The amounts are totally open, you can donate per burpee, per day or as one lump sum. No amount is too small. State your pledge in the donor role "notes" on this page. We will post our burpee totals at the end of the month and send you an update so that you can make a donation based on your pledge.
  2. Do burpees! The goal is to do 20 per day and take a video of yourself doing them. Post the video to Google Photos (link) and Katie Harrington each day will pick one or more to post on our Instagram account to increase awareness.
